Welcome from the Executive Director

I wish to extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation to all the stakeholders who have guided us and given us a helping hand in achieving our goals. Among our major projects is Divine Mercy School and as you will see from the progress report below we are making great strides in this area due largely to the financial and moral support of friends from Europe, USA and New Zealand.

I also wish to thank my board for their innovation and for working tirelessly to reach our intended objectives and to recognise our local partners; Red Cross Uganda and The Real Uganda for facilitating our programs especially at the grass roots level.

My appreciation also goes to the academic committee of Divine Mercy headed by Mr Matende Geoffrey and Mr Alicwam Joseph for the tremendous job they do.

Let us together as one celebrate our past achievements and look forward to consolidating an even more positive future.

School Building and HIV Awareness

We are also committed to assist orphans who study under trees in rural settings. Depending on our capacity we mobilise the community to establish temporary shelters for such children.

The photo below show Frank (in red top with white stripes) helping the community measure the base of the new structure. James (UK Volunteer) clearing the bush.

Amy digging a foundation for the new building with Frank looking on.

Some community members clearing the bush next to the beginnings of one of the temporary structures.

A village woman preparing porridge for the hard working community.

These photos show our HIV awareness sessions to mothers and guardians of some of the aforementioned orphans, some of which are also HIV positive.
